Today the penetration of technology in our lives is a double edged sword; It makes our life easier and miserable at the same time. Nowadays everyone is having a blog or vlog to record their life and showcase it to the world (I am not a fan of vlog, Most of the time it looks artificial).
Few reasons to write a blog:
By writing the things you have learned, experienced and most importantly our failures, you can use it in your future to look back when you feel sad or happy or broke.
Reading your own history will remind you that "this too shall pass..."
When you start a blog you will be eager to create a lot of content and at the same time you will be conscious that you don’t want to look bad in front of the whole world by creating inferior contents, so you will be learning a lot. In the beginning you will focus on one particular subject to create posts, later you will get bored.
Who likes to do the same thing again and again???
So you will try to learn new things and you will learn new things for sure. After exploring new things you may go back to your previous subject matter with a fresh mind.
Some people may argue that you should stick to your niche but it doesn’t mean you should not learn new things.
Only by sharing your thoughts to others you can evaluate it. In the internet age, an unknown person may assist or attack you by concealing his or her true identity. Both will make you strong.
Blog is a fabulous way to showcase your skills and brand yourself. Write a lot of good content in your area of expertise; it will establish your professional image.
If you blog on a regular basis it will attract people who have similar interests, it’s a comfortable way for an introvert to make new friendships. This creates opportunities to share your thoughts, work, and collaborate on your projects with like-minded people.
If your sole reason for blogging is to earn money then you will be disappointed for sure. It is not easy to earn money from a blog until you build your community. After some hard work you can start earning money but it won’t be a fixed income. I didn’t mean you can’t make money from a blog. What I am trying to say is that this is not a get rich quick scheme.
Start a blog.
